The Chagall String Quartet is made up of young musicians from Italy and Turkey, which met, during their studies, in the city of Trieste (Italy). 夏加尔弦乐四重奏由来自意大利和土耳其的年轻音乐家组成，他们在意大利的里雅斯特学习时相遇。 
Deriving from many different chamber music experiences, the "Chagall String Quartet" members founded this group in 2014, with the purpose of going deep to the heart of both the traditional string quartet repertoire and compositions rarely played, and world premieres, under the eyes of musicians like Andrea Amendola (Paul Klee 4et) and Pietro Sera�0�3n. 
2014年，夏加尔弦乐四重奏正式成立，成员们各自拥有丰富的室内乐经验，致力于为观众带来除传统四重奏曲目以外一些鲜为人知的弦乐曲目。另外，乐团还在安德烈•阿曼多拉（保罗克利四重奏成员）及彼得罗•塞雷芬的指导下首演了许多新曲目。 
Appreciated by critics and audience for the great passion and the perfect mix between the various instruments present in its performances, the Chagall String Quartet got many prizes, including in particular the Golden Award and two special prizes at the "9th Svirél International Music Competition" (Slovenia), the First Prize at the 30th "Lilian Caraian Competition" (Italy) and the �0�3nalist certi�0�3cate (3rd place) at the "Cameristi dell’Alpe Aria" International Competition (Italy, 2016). It has performed for important festivals, concert seasons and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad, such as the Parma Concert Society, the ACM Chamber Music of Trieste, the Association "Rodolfo Lipizer" of Gorizia, the BorGuitar Festival (Borgo Val di Taro, PM), the Kras Festival (Duino-TS), Gemonaimmagina 2016 and many others, collaborating with great artists such as Giampaolo Bandini, Cesare Chiacchiaretta and Igor Zobin. The formation gained great approval also for some premieres, by composers such as N. Jappelli and C. Chiacchiaretta. 
夏加尔四重奏因其乐器间默契的配合和乐曲中表达的充沛的情感广受评论界和观众的好评，并屡获国际大奖，包括第九届斯洛文尼亚Svirél 国际音乐大赛金奖和两座特别奖；第30届意大利莉莉安•卡拉利安比赛首奖；2016年意大利"Cameristi dell’Alpe Aria"国际大赛第三名等。除此之外，四重奏还受邀亮相于意大利国内外各大音乐节，音乐季及文化机构，奉上一场场精彩绝伦的演出。如帕尔马音乐协会、的里雅斯特室内乐协会、戈里齐亚Rodolfo Lipizer协会、博尔坎特音乐节、克拉斯音乐节及2016年Gemonaimmagina音乐节等。与他们合作过的音乐家包括吉安保罗•班迪尼、凯撒勒•齐亚克齐亚雷塔及伊戈尔•佐宾等。四重奏首演了如作曲家雅佩利和齐亚克齐亚雷塔的多部作品，其演绎受到了作曲家本人的认可和称赞。 
Marc Chagall and his famous painting “The blue violinist” (1913) inspired these projects and the name of the group. 
夏加尔四重奏这个名字的灵感来源于马克•夏加尔及他著名的画作“蓝色的小提琴手”。
