林奕匡于加拿大长大，自小受到欧美音乐的熏陶，同时他也十分钟情华语乐坛的作品。作为一位唱作人，阿Phil更是精通瑟士风及钢琴的全能音乐人，出道以来一直创作好多温暖人心的歌曲给大家，也有《高山低谷》这样的作品在YouTube更是达到两千万的点击量。
阿Phil对歌曲的创作注入大量自己对音乐的看法和他独有的音乐风格，每一首创作他都精雕细琢、鉅细无遗，务求将最好的作品展现人前，大部分曲风偏向流行曲式的 R&B及加入精湛的瑟士风及钢琴伴奏，令人一听难忘，同时还有更多歌曲值得大家细味。
今次林奕匡将开启他的首个中国澳门个人巡回演唱会，演唱会以「Philromantics」命名，以「浪漫」为主题，林奕匡式浪漫的意义很广泛，除了爱情也可以包括友情、亲情或是和歌迷之间的感情。家人辛苦工作后能够坐下来是一餐饭可以是浪漫、和歌迷经历不同的人生阶段彼此成长也可以是一种浪漫，最重要的是那份心意。
Phil会将他真实的想法、性格融入歌曲，希望带给乐迷最真实的一面，例如《Goodman》、《有人共鸣》便是最佳例子。Phil至今已推出6张唱片，当中作品绝大部分都是由他亲自作曲，他亦曾为不同歌手作曲，包括谢安琪、周柏豪等，均获得乐迷关注。
「Philromantics」演唱会由去年中国香港起至今，场场开票即售爆，并且场场座无虚席，好评如潮，受到歌迷热烈支持！
