安东尼奥·波姆帕-巴尔迪，意大利著名钢琴家、教育家，美国克利夫兰音乐学院钢琴系教授。他是1998年法国玛格丽特·隆-雅克·蒂博国际钢琴比赛的头奖获得者，克利夫兰国际钢琴比赛第一名及美国2001年范·克莱本国际钢琴比赛银奖得主。他的演奏足迹遍及世界五大洲，频繁出现在世界各大音乐厅，例如美国纽约林肯中心音乐厅，卡内基音乐厅，克利夫兰塞弗伦斯音乐厅，意大利米兰威尔第大厅，美国波士顿交响乐大厅，法国巴黎著名科尔托音乐厅、普莱耶音乐厅、夏沃音乐厅、巴黎香榭丽舍剧院等。他与众多世界著名指挥家合作演出，包括指挥家汉斯·格拉夫、詹姆斯·康伦、米格尔·哈斯-贝多亚等；合作过的著名交响乐团，包括休斯敦交响乐团，柏林交响乐团，法国国家广播交响乐团，乌克兰国家交响乐团，美国科罗拉多交响乐团，美国沃斯堡交响乐团，意大利托斯卡纳交响乐团等。他是施坦威艺术家，中国中央音乐学院的客座荣誉教授。他的学生们经常在世界各地的重大国际钢琴比赛中获奖，包括法国玛格丽特·隆国际钢琴大赛，美国希尔顿·海德国际钢琴比赛，韩国尹伊桑国际音乐比赛，吉娜·巴考尔国际钢琴大赛等。
Born and raised in Foggia, Italy, Antonio Pompa-Baldi won the Cleveland International Piano Competition in 1999 and embarked on a career that continues to extend across five continents. A top prize winner at the 1998 Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud Competition of Paris, France, Antonio Pompa-Baldi also won a silver medal at the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Mr. Pompa-Baldi appears regularly at the world’s major concert venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Cleveland’s Severance Hall, Milan’s Sala Verdi,  Boston’s Symphony Hall, Shanghai’s Grand Theatre, and Paris’ Salle Pleyel, to name a few.He has collaborated with leading conductors including Hans Graf, James Conlon, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, and Keith Lockhart, performing with the Houston Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Berliner Symphoniker, Orchestre National de Paris-Radio France, National Orchestra of Ukraine, Fort Worth Symphony, among many others.In 2014, among many concerts all over the world, Mr. Pompa-Baldi performed all the Rachmaninoff Piano Concertos with Theodore Kuchar and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, in South Africa. Maestro Kuchar will also be the conductor for the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos, which Mr. Pompa-Baldi will play in March of 2015.  Mr. Pompa-Baldi has recorded 20 CDs to date, for various labels, including Harmonia Mundi, Steinway, TwoPianists, and Centaur Records.Among them, the complete piano and chamber music works of Grieg, the Josef Rheinberger Piano Sonatas, the complete Hummel Piano Sonatas, and CDs dedicated to Brahms, Schumann, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff.  For the Steinway label, Pompa-Baldi recorded a disc of songs by Francis Poulenc and Edith Piaf, arranged for solo piano, to commemorate the 50th year of the passing of both French musical icons.  Antonio Pompa-Baldi is a Steinway Artist. He is often invited to judge international piano competitions, and serves as president of the jury for the International Russian Piano Music Competition in San Jose, CA since 2006. He is on the Piano Faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Music. His students have been prizewinners in important competitions such as Marguerite Long, Hilton Head, Isang Yun, and Gina Bachauer.
